Find and Catch Your First Starter Pokémon

Locating Starter Spawns

Unlike traditional Pokémon games, Primal Horizon Shifters starters spawn naturally in the world rather than being given to you. Search grassy plains and forest biomes for Citrillume (grass), Infernito (fire), and Potdary (water). Fire starters tend to appear in warmer biomes, while water types spawn near rivers and ocean edges.

Catching and Evolving Your Starter

Once you spot a starter, use a Poké Ball to catch it. Your starter will gain experience through battles with wild Pokémon. Level up Citrillume to evolve it into Limonzal, then continue leveling to reach Citrisaurid—your first rideable mount.

For Infernito, it evolves into Pillosinge and eventually Slacho, which gains Ice typing and becomes a land mount. Potdary follows a similar path, becoming Vasaddle then Mortaraid, a dual Water/Rock type capable of traversing both land and water.

Tips for Early Catching

Weaken Pokémon before catching them to increase success rates. Stock up on Poké Balls before exploring biomes where starters spawn. Consider catching multiple starters to build a balanced team early on.
