Dig Up and Restore Fossil Pokémon

Finding Fossils in Structures

Fossil Pokémon are hidden within world structures scattered across your world. Search caves, deep underground zones, and specific biome structures for fossil blocks. These appear as special ore-like blocks distinct from regular stone.

Extracting and Restoring Fossils

Mine fossil blocks with a pickaxe to collect them. Once you have fossils, you'll need to restore them—typically done at a restoration station or through a specific crafting recipe. The exact restoration method depends on your mod version, but the process converts raw fossils into rideable or battle-ready Pokémon.

Where to Search

Fossils are more common in caves and deep underground layers. Check ocean floors and ancient-looking structures first. Some biomes have higher fossil spawn rates than others, so explore diverse terrain types.

Strategic Collecting

Collect multiple fossils to increase your chances of obtaining rare fossil Pokémon. Different fossil types restore into different creatures, so variety helps you build a stronger team.
