Using the Preferred Gamerules Config Screen: A Quick Walkthrough

Getting to the Config

The mod's controls live entirely in the Mod Menu config screen rather than in a block or item. From the main menu or in-game, open Mod Menu, locate Preferred Gamerules in the installed mods list, and press its config button. This opens a screen listing the world's gamerules with toggles and value options.

Reading the Options

Each entry corresponds to one gamerule. Toggle-style rules are on/off switches, while others may present a small set of choices. The labels are written to be easy to understand, so you can match a rule to the behavior you want to change without memorizing command syntax. Scroll if the list is longer than the window.

Applying and Verifying

After changing values, save or apply so the settings are written to the current world. Then test in-game: for example, if you disabled a spawning rule, check whether new mobs appear. If something did not take effect, reopen the config to confirm the value stuck. The config screen is the single place you manage all of this, so you never need to leave the world or enable cheats to adjust how it behaves.
