Setting Up Your New Rank

Custom ranks let you build a hierarchy that matches your server's needs. You can create as many ranks as you want beyond the default Member, Moderator, Admin, and Owner.

Steps to Create a Rank

1. Open the web editor tool included with Power Ranks Plugin

2. Navigate to the ranks section

3. Click to add a new rank and give it a name (for example: "Helper", "VIP", "Streamer")

4. Set the prefix that will appear next to players' names in chat

5. Choose a color for the player's name

6. Choose a color for their chat messages

7. Save your changes

The new rank will be active immediately—no server restart needed. Once created, you can assign this rank to players using the promote action on a Power Ranks sign, or manage it through the web editor. You can delete custom ranks at any time if your server's structure changes. Remember that rank names are case-sensitive when you use them in commands, so keep them consistent.
