Customize Your Power Armor with Trims

Understanding Armor Trims

Power Armor supports both vanilla Minecraft armor trims and trims from other mods. Trims are purely cosmetic—they add visual flair and style to your suit without affecting its protective stats or performance.

Applying Trims to Your Armor

Before entering your suit, you can apply trims to individual armor pieces using the standard trim application method. This means using a smithing table with your power armor piece, a trim template, and the appropriate trim material (such as copper, iron, diamond, or other variants depending on which trim you want).

Customization Options

Since each armor piece can be trimmed independently, you can create unique color schemes and patterns across your suit. Mix and match different trim types on different pieces for a personalized look.

Applying Trims After Crafting

You can trim your armor pieces before powering them up, or even after you've exited the suit. Simply remove the piece, apply your desired trim at a smithing table, and place it back with the others when you're ready to reassemble your suit.
