Manage Potion Stacks in Containers

Storing Stacked Potions

Stacked potions work seamlessly with chests, barrels, and other containers. When you deposit potions into storage, they automatically combine with existing stacks of the same type.

Organization Strategy

1. Create dedicated potion storage — use a chest or barrel near your base

2. Sort by effect type — keep Healing potions in one area, Strength in another, etc.

3. Stack similar potions together — when you place a potion next to another of the same type, they merge

4. Label your storage — use signs or item frames to mark which potions are stored where

Efficient Inventory Management

Before heading out on long adventures, visit your potion storage and collect stacks of potions you'll need. Since each stack holds up to 16 potions, you can carry significantly more potions than before while leaving room for other essential items. This is especially useful for extended mining trips, boss fights, or PvP encounters where having multiple healing or buff potions is crucial.
