How to Check Your Remaining Potions Without Opening Your Inventory

The core purpose of this mod is answering one question fast: how many potions do I have left? Because potions do not stack in Minecraft, your supply is spread across hotbar slots and inventory space, and opening your inventory to count them is dangerous in combat. The overlay solves this.

What the Overlay Tracks

The counter displays the remaining number of potions in your inventory, broken down by kind, so you can see at a glance how many of each type you are carrying. It updates as you drink, drop, or pick up potions, so the number on screen always reflects your real supply.

Using It During a Fight

1. Before engaging, note the counts shown for each potion type.

2. Drink potions as needed — the counter decreases in real time, so you never have to guess whether you have one more Healing left.

3. When a count gets low, decide whether to retreat, brew more, or switch to a different potion type you still have in reserve.

4. Remember the counter reads your whole inventory, not just the hotbar, so potions stored further back are still counted.

This turns potion management from a risky inventory check into a quick glance, which is exactly the convenience the mod was built to provide.
