Use Polydex with Other Recipe Mods

Understanding Mod Compatibility

Polydex is designed to work alongside recipe viewer mods like EMI and JEI through the Polydex Bridge. You don't need to choose one or the other—they can coexist.

Setting Up Bridge Integration

If you have both Polydex and EMI/JEI installed, the Bridge automatically enables cross-mod communication. This means:

• Recipes viewed in one mod may be cached or referenced by the other
• Tooltip data remains consistent across mods
• No additional configuration is usually needed

When to Use Each

Use Polydex's built-in recipe viewer for quick lookups on vanilla-compatible servers. Switch to EMI or JEI if you need advanced filtering, search, or features specific to modpacks. On pure Polymer servers, Polydex alone provides all necessary recipe information without extra client mods.
