Position the Chat Widget to Match Your UI Layout

Adjust Widget Placement

The chat widget's default position may not suit your screen layout or mod setup. Use the offset settings to move it anywhere.

Steps

1. Open your mod configuration file or in-game settings menu

2. Locate the X Offset setting — this controls left/right positioning. Positive values move the widget right; negative values move it left

3. Locate the Y Offset setting — this controls up/down positioning. Adjust this to move the widget higher or lower on your screen

4. If you want the widget locked directly below your inventory slots, enable Anchor Below Inventory. This overrides manual offset adjustments and keeps the widget aligned with your storage grid

5. Save your configuration and reopen your inventory to preview the changes

6. Fine-tune the offset values until the widget sits exactly where you want it — whether that's in a corner, centered, or alongside other UI elements

Tips

If you use multiple mods that add inventory widgets, adjust offsets to prevent overlap. Test different values in small increments for precise placement.
