Enhance Water Clarity and Reflections
Locate Water Settings
Open the shader options menu and find the water-specific section. This contains all controls for how water appears in your world.
Adjust Water Transparency
Look for transparency or clarity sliders. Increase these values to make water more see-through, allowing you to spot underwater features like sand, gravel, and submerged structures more easily. Decrease them if you prefer deeper, more opaque water that feels more mysterious.
Control Reflection Strength
Find the reflection or mirror effect slider. Higher values make water act like a mirror, reflecting the sky, clouds, and nearby terrain. Lower values reduce reflections for a more subtle, realistic appearance.
Test in Different Environments
Visit various water bodies to see how your settings work: still lakes, flowing rivers, and ocean biomes all behave differently. Adjust until water feels visually distinct from the surrounding landscape while maintaining the classic realistic aesthetic the shader provides.
