Configure Kit Cooldowns and Permissions

Access the Configuration File

Navigate to your plugin's configuration folder and open the config file for PlayerKits 2. This is where all kit settings, including cooldowns and permissions, are managed.

Set Cooldown Times

Locate the cooldown section for your desired kit. Cooldowns are typically configured in seconds or minutes depending on your server's setup.

Assign Permissions

Each kit can be restricted to players with specific permissions. In the config, assign a permission node to the kit (for example, playerkits.kit.vip). Only players with that permission will be able to claim it.

Apply Changes

After editing the config file, run /kit reload to apply your changes without restarting the server. Test by having players with and without the required permission attempt to claim the kit—they should only succeed if they have the correct permission node.
