Protect Admin Players from Kicks

If you want server operators or players with cheat access to survive death without being kicked, use the admin exemption setting.

1. Open the mod config file at .minecraft/config.

2. Locate exemptAdminPlayers (default: true).

3. Ensure it is set to true — this automatically exempts any player with OP status or cheat access from being kicked on death.

4. Save and restart your server.

How Admin Status Works

Players are considered admins if they:

• Have OP (operator) status on the server
• Have cheat access enabled in their world settings

When exemptAdminPlayers is true, these players will die normally but remain on the server. When false, everyone—including admins—gets kicked on death.

Verify Exemptions

Test by having an OP player die. They should remain connected while non-OP players are kicked. Adjust the setting if this behavior doesn't match your server rules.
