Broadcast Player Eliminations to Your Entire Server

Enable Server-Wide Kick Announcements

Let all players know when someone is eliminated by broadcasting kick messages to the entire server.

1. Open the mod config file at .minecraft/config.

2. Find the broadcastKickToServer setting (default: true).

3. Ensure it is set to true to enable announcements.

4. Save and restart your server.

What Players Will See

When enabled, all online players receive a message whenever someone is kicked for dying. This typically shows:

  • The player's name who was kicked
  • The reason (death cause, if addDeathCauseToMessage is enabled)

Disable Broadcasts for Privacy

If you prefer eliminations to be silent and only visible to the kicked player, set broadcastKickToServer to false. This is useful for servers where you don't want to draw attention to individual deaths.

Combine with Custom Messages

Broadcast messages work alongside your custom disconnectMessage setting, creating a coordinated announcement system for your server.
