Recover Your Items After Dying

Find Your Death Location

When you die, check your chat immediately for a message containing your exact death coordinates. Write these down or take a screenshot so you don't lose them.

Alternatively, use /trigger corpse_finder to open a menu that displays all corpse locations currently loaded in your world. This is especially useful if you've died multiple times and need to track several bodies.

Retrieve Your Gear

Travel to the coordinates shown in chat or the corpse finder menu. You'll see a physical body wearing your skin and holding all your items.

Once you reach the corpse, sneak (hold Shift by default) near the body. Your items will automatically return to your inventory in the exact slots they occupied before you died. If your inventory is full, items will drop on the ground.

Alternative Retrieval Method

If your mod is configured to use Right Click instead of sneaking, simply right-click the corpse to claim your items.

Your body will disappear once all items have been claimed, or it will remain if you've enabled item locking and aren't the owner.
