Planeta Cobblemon Pokemon Data Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get the new Pokemon from this data pack to show up in my world?
They don't spawn naturally, so you have to use the Cobblemon spawn command to bring them in. Check the spawn command guide for the exact syntax, then target the Pokemon by its Cobblemon species name.
Why aren't Iron Crown or Roaring Moon spawning in the wild?
This data pack only adds models, not natural spawn entries, so Paradox Pokemon will never appear on their own. You have to summon them manually with commands every time.
What command do I use to spawn Heatran or Terrakion?
Use the standard Cobblemon spawn command and enter the Pokemon's species name as it appears in Cobblemon. If the name isn't recognized, double-check the spelling against the pack's model list.
My spawned Pokemon is frozen and won't move, how do I fix it?
Some models in this pack don't have animations yet, so they'll stand still even when spawned correctly. If it's completely unresponsive rather than just idle, try despawning and respawning it, and make sure the base Cobblemon mod is loaded first.
Does this pack work with the main Cobblemon mod?
Yes, it's designed as an add-on and requires Cobblemon to function. Load it alongside Cobblemon rather than instead of it, or the models won't register.
Which Pokemon are included in this data pack?
It adds 15 models total, including Paradox Pokemon like Iron Crown, Iron Boulder and Roaring Moon, legendaries like Heatran, Terrakion and Virizion, and regular Pokemon such as Dedenne, Trubbish and Electrike.
Can I catch these Pokemon or do they only exist as models?
They behave like normal Cobblemon once spawned, so you can interact with and catch them the usual way. Just remember they won't appear unless you summon them yourself.
Will these Pokemon ever spawn naturally in future updates?
As of now the pack only provides models and no wild spawn data, so natural spawning isn't supported. If that changes, it would come from an update to the pack itself.
Does adding this data pack hurt performance or cause lag?
Adding models is generally lightweight, but spawning many at once can strain your game like any entity spam. If you notice lag, spawn fewer at a time or clear ones you're not using.
Do I need to install anything else besides Cobblemon for this to work?
No, it's a data pack that runs on top of Cobblemon, so Cobblemon is the only hard requirement. Just make sure both are active in your world before spawning anything.
