Place Flowers and Grass on Stone and Hard Blocks

Getting Started

This mod lets you decorate hard surfaces like stone, bricks, sand, and wood with flowers and grass that normally only grow on dirt.

How to Place Plants

1. Gather flower, grass, or bush blocks from the world or your inventory

2. Hold the plant block in your hand

3. Look at any hard block surface (stone, bricks, sand, wood, etc.)

4. Right-click to place the plant on that block

The plant will attach and stay in place, even on vertical or angled surfaces. You can place multiple plants close together to create natural-looking clusters.

What Works

Most decorative plants from the base game and other mods are supported. However, farm crops and tree saplings still require dirt or farmland — they won't place on hard blocks even with this mod.

Tips

  • Use this to add greenery to stone structures, cliffs, and beaches
  • Plants placed by hand ignore normal growth rules
  • Check your world generation — plants now spawn naturally on rocky and sandy terrain too
