Preview Piston Push Sequences Before Activation

How to View Piston Behavior

Before powering a piston, you can safely preview exactly what will happen when it activates.

Steps:

1. Stand in front of or beside the piston base (the block with the face you want to push from)

2. Make sure your hand is empty—no tools or items selected

3. Right-click on the piston base

4. The mod will display a visual overlay showing:

• Whether the piston will successfully push blocks
• How many blocks will move (up to the maximum limit)
• The exact order in which blocks will be pushed
• Any blocks that would be destroyed if the push fails

Clearing the Display

Once you've seen the preview, you can hide it by:

• Right-clicking the piston again, or
• Pressing the hotkey (default: P) to clear all active displays at once

This is especially useful for complex redstone contraptions where you need to verify piston behavior without accidentally triggering mechanisms.
