Protect Your Pet From Creative Mode Players

Block Creative Player Damage

On servers with creative mode players, you may want to prevent them from damaging your pets regardless of other protection settings.

1. Open config/petprotect.json

2. Locate the ignore_creative option

3. Set it to false to prevent creative players from bypassing pet protection

4. Save and restart your game

How This Works

When ignore_creative is set to false:

• Creative mode players cannot damage your pets
• All other pet protection rules still apply
• Your pet remains safe even from admins or operators in creative mode

When ignore_creative is set to true:

• Creative players can damage your pets regardless of other settings
• This is useful for servers where admins need full control

This setting is especially important on public servers where creative players might accidentally or intentionally harm your pets. Coordinate with server administrators to ensure this setting matches your server's rules.
