Use Only Male or Only Female Names

Open Configuration Settings

Find and open your Pet Names Mod config file in a text editor.

Locate Gender Settings

The mod includes separate toggles for male and female name pools. Look for settings labeled something like use_male_names and use_female_names.

Configure Your Preference

• To use only male names: set use_male_names to true and use_female_names to false
• To use only female names: set use_male_names to false and use_female_names to true
• To use both: keep both set to true

This applies globally to all mobs that have naming enabled.

Apply Changes

Save the config file and reload your world or restart the game. The next baby mob born will use names from your configured gender pool only.
