Activating Performance Mode

Performance Mode applies automatic optimization tweaks designed to improve FPS and reduce stuttering. Press O (default keybind) to toggle it on. When active, the mod will apply several adjustments to reduce system load.

What Performance Mode Does

Performance Mode typically limits or reduces:

• Particle effects: Fewer particles from explosions, fire, and other sources
• Entity rendering: Reduced detail on distant mobs and items
• Other visual optimizations: Tweaks that maintain gameplay while cutting GPU/CPU work

These changes are most noticeable in particle-heavy situations like combat, mining, or near redstone contraptions.

When to Use It

Enable Performance Mode if:

• Your FPS drops below comfortable levels (usually below 60)
• You're playing on a lower-end system
• You're in a heavily built area with many entities
• The HUD shows high CPU or memory usage

Performance Mode is safe to toggle on and off at any time without restarting. Experiment to find the balance between visuals and smoothness that works for your system.
