Monitor Your Game Performance in Real-Time

Open the Stats Screen

The stats screen gives you live data about how your game is running. Press P (default key) to toggle it on or off. The overlay appears in the top right corner of your screen.

What Information You'll See

The stats display includes:

  • FPS and frame time – how many frames per second you're getting and how long each frame takes to render
  • RAM usage – memory your game is currently consuming
  • Entity and chunk counts – how many mobs, items, and loaded chunks surround you
  • Ping – your connection latency in multiplayer worlds (useful for diagnosing lag)
  • CPU usage and temperature – processor load and heat, helping you spot if your CPU is the bottleneck

Use This Data to Troubleshoot

If your FPS is low but CPU and RAM look fine, your GPU might be the issue. If CPU temperature is high, consider enabling Performance Mode or lowering render distance. High ping means server lag, not your computer.

Change the Hotkey

Visit your Controls menu to rebind P to a different key if needed.
