Reduce Stamina Drain from Heavy Inventory

Understand Weight Penalties

Carrying heavy items increases your stamina drain across all actions—sprinting, jumping, climbing, and attacking all cost more energy when you're weighed down. Your maximum stamina capacity also decreases with heavy loads, making it harder to perform sustained activities.

Lighten Your Load

To reduce weight penalties:

  • Drop unnecessary items: Leave behind blocks, tools, or materials you don't immediately need. Return for them later.
  • Use chests strategically: Place storage chests at key locations (mining sites, bases, farms) so you can deposit items without carrying them far.
  • Prioritize essentials: Keep only your current tools, food, and critical supplies in your inventory.
  • Make multiple trips: If gathering large quantities, make several trips rather than overloading once.

Monitor Your Weight

Check your on-screen weight meter (displayed alongside your stamina bar) to see how much your inventory is affecting you. The mod's HUD shows both your current stamina and active penalties, including weight burden.

Lighter inventory means faster recovery, lower action costs, and better mobility in dangerous situations. Plan your gathering runs around manageable weight limits.
