How to Force Global Resource Packs on All Worlds

Placing Resource Packs

Paxi activates resource packs from .minecraft/config/paxi/resourcepacks. Copy your pack folders or .zip files into that directory. Each pack needs a valid pack.mcmeta and the usual assets folder structure, or it will fail to load.

Automatic Activation

Unlike normal resource packs, these are applied when the game starts and cannot be toggled off from the in-game resource pack screen. That is intentional: it lets modpack authors guarantee textures and sounds are always present. If a pack does not appear to work, check that it is not corrupted and that its pack_format in pack.mcmeta matches your game version's expectations.

Overriding and Conflicts

When multiple packs in the folder change the same texture, the load order decides the winner. Paxi generally applies packs so that later entries override earlier ones, but you should test by checking a specific texture in-game rather than assuming. If you need one pack to win, remove or rename the competing pack so only the intended one remains.

Removing a Pack

To stop forcing a pack, delete it from the resourcepacks folder and restart the game. There is no in-game toggle, so file management is the only way to disable it.
