Paxi Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I add a datapack with Paxi?
Drop the datapack folder or zip into .minecraft/config/paxi/datapacks. It will be applied automatically to every new world you create.
How do I add a resource pack with Paxi?
Place the resource pack zip into .minecraft/config/paxi/resourcepacks. Paxi activates everything in that folder on game start, so you don't need to enable it per-world.
Why can't I disable a Paxi resource pack in the in-game menu?
Paxi resource packs are forced on by design, so they don't appear as toggleable options in the normal resource pack list. To remove one, delete it from the config/paxi/resourcepacks folder.
Do Paxi datapacks apply to worlds I already created?
No, Paxi applies its packs to new worlds. Existing worlds keep whatever packs they already had, so you'd need to add the datapack manually to those saves.
How do I control the order datapacks load in Paxi?
Edit datapack_load_order.json in the config/paxi folder and list the datapacks in the order you want them loaded. This matters when two packs modify the same
things and you need one to override the other.
things and you need one to override the other.Where is the Paxi config folder?
It's at .minecraft/config/paxi, with datapacks and resourcepacks as subfolders. If the folders don't exist yet, create them and Paxi will pick them up.
Can I use Paxi to force resource packs in a modpack?
Yes, that's one of its main uses. Ship the packs inside config/paxi/resourcepacks in your modpack so every player gets them automatically without touching their settings.
How do I share my Paxi setup with other players or in a modpack?
Include the contents of the config/paxi folder in your modpack export. Anyone using that pack will get the same datapacks, resource packs, and load order.
My Paxi datapack isn't working, what did I do wrong?
Check that the pack is in config/paxi/datapacks and that it's a valid datapack with a proper pack.mcmeta. Also remember it only applies to newly created worlds, not existing ones.
Does Paxi work on servers or only singleplayer?
Paxi is client-side and applies packs to worlds you create locally. On a server, the server's own datapacks and resource pack settings take over, so Paxi's global packs won't force themselves onto a multiplayer server.
