How to Install and Enable the Patrix Resource Pack in Minecraft Java
Placing the Pack
Patrix is a resource pack, not a mod, so you do not need a mod loader to run it. Locate your Minecraft resource pack folder by opening Options, then Resource Packs, then clicking Open Pack Folder. Drop the Patrix pack file (or its extracted folder) directly into that directory. If you downloaded a zip, you can leave it zipped; Minecraft reads zipped packs fine. Restart the game if the pack does not appear in the list.
Activating It
Back in the Resource Packs screen, move Patrix from the left column to the right column. If you also use a shader or another texture pack, place Patrix above the pack you want it to override, since packs higher in the list take priority. Click Done and let the game reload textures. You will immediately notice higher-resolution blocks, items, doors, boats, and pottery sherds.
Performance Notes
High-resolution packs are heavier on your GPU and RAM. If you see stuttering, lower your render distance or allocate more memory to your Minecraft profile. Patrix is designed to work on vanilla Java Edition, so no Forge or Fabric installation is required just to see the textures.
