Farm Mob Drops Safely Without Combat Risk

Advantages of Passive Farming

With all mobs now peaceful, you can approach any creature to collect their drops without fear of retaliation. This is especially useful for farming gunpowder from Creepers, bones from Skeletons, or rotten flesh from Zombies.

Setting Up Your Farm

Build a simple mob farm using fall damage or suffocation. Since mobs won't fight back, you can use minimal safety features—no need for elaborate defensive walls or escape routes.

Herd mobs into a contained area using water or by walking near them. They'll follow you peacefully. Once gathered, use fall damage, cacti, or suffocation damage to kill them in bulk.

Collecting Drops

Stand safely nearby as mobs die and collect their loot. You can also use hopper systems to automatically funnel drops into chests without any risk of mob interference.

This approach is far more efficient than traditional combat-based farming, since you never need to dodge attacks or manage health.
