How to Stop Endermen from Teleporting Away in Passive Endermen Mod
Why Endermen Still Teleport
By default, Passive Endermen Mod disables enderman teleportation, but if you still see them blinking around, the config may have been changed, or you are running a modpack that ships its own config file. The teleport toggle is the single most important setting if you want endermen to stay put while you fight or farm them.
Checking and Changing the Teleport Setting
1. Open your config folder. For most loaders this is inside your Minecraft instance under config, and the file is named after the mod.
2. Open the config file with a plain text editor.
3. Find the entry that controls teleportation. It is usually a boolean (true/false) value labeled something like teleport or allowTeleport.
4. Set it so teleportation is disabled, then save the file.
5. Restart Minecraft so the change loads.
If you are in a world already, existing endermen keep their current behavior until they are reloaded. Walk far enough away for the chunks to unload, or leave and rejoin, so fresh endermen spawn with the new rules.
Verifying It Works
Find an enderman and hit it once. A vanilla enderman would teleport almost immediately. With the setting off, it should stay in place and simply walk toward you or away. If it still teleports, another mod is likely overriding enderman AI, so check your other mob-behavior mods.
