How to Customize Passive Endermen Mod Settings for Your Playstyle
One Mod, Three Independent Toggles
The mod bundles three separate behaviors: teleportation, block pickup/placement, and aggression when looked at. Each can be turned on or off independently, so you can build the exact enderman experience you want instead of an all-or-nothing change. Knowing which toggle does what lets you fine-tune without editing code.
Choosing a Configuration
- Full vanilla feel, less griefing: keep teleporting on, disable block pickup, keep look-aggro on. Endermen still fight and blink around, but stop ruining terrain.
- Farming-friendly: disable teleporting so endermen stay in your farm, keep block pickup off, and disable look-aggro so you can work nearby safely.
- Fully passive: disable all three. Endermen become harmless wanderers that never teleport, never move blocks, and never attack on sight.
- Combat-focused: keep teleporting on for a real fight, disable block pickup, and leave look-aggro on so the fight starts the normal way.
Applying and Testing Changes
Edit the config file, save it, and restart the game. Because settings load at startup, changes do not apply mid-session. After restarting, test each behavior: look at an enderman, hit one, and watch whether it moves blocks. Adjust the toggles until the behavior matches your goal. If a setting seems ignored, another mod may be overriding enderman AI, so check your mod list for conflicts.
