Parkour Travel Map FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start a parkour stage?
Go to the hub room and look for the colorful block buttons that correspond to each stage number. Click the button for the stage you want to attempt, and you'll be teleported to that section of the course.
Can I skip stages or do I have to go in order?
You can jump to any stage you want from the hub room—there's no requirement to complete them in order. This lets you practice difficult sections or tackle the course however you prefer.
What happens if I fall off a platform?
You'll take fall damage and likely die. When you die, you'll respawn at the start of your current stage, so you can try again immediately.
Are there checkpoints within a stage or do I restart from the beginning?
Each stage resets you to its starting point when you die—there are no mid-stage checkpoints. Some stages are longer than others, so practice and memorization help.
How do I know which way to go?
Follow the signs placed throughout the course; they provide directions and guidance for each stage. The path is also usually marked by the floating platforms themselves, leading you toward the next section.
What's the hardest part of the map?
The lava pit sections and tall vertical towers are the most dangerous because one mistake sends you falling into lava or a long drop. The difficulty ramps up significantly as you approach the 300 mark at the end.
Is there a time limit for completing stages?
No, you can take as long as you need to complete each stage. The challenge is purely about successfully landing every jump without falling.
Can I use mods like flight or speed to make it easier?
That's up to you, but the map is designed to test your jumping skills without assistance. Using movement mods defeats the purpose of the parkour challenge.
Why am I taking fall damage from short drops?
Minecraft applies fall damage based on the distance fallen, even from relatively small heights. Some stages may have platforms positioned to punish imprecise jumps with unavoidable damage.
What do I do after reaching the 300 mark?
Reaching stage 300 is the final goal of the map. Once you complete it, you've beaten the course—you can then go back and try to perfect earlier stages or challenge yourself with speedruns.
