Create a Custom Panorama Pack to Use With Panorandom

Understanding Panorama File Structure

A panorama in Minecraft consists of six separate image files that form a cube around the player. To create a panorama pack, you need to prepare these six images and place them in the correct directory structure within your resource pack.

Building Your Resource Pack

1. Create a folder for your resource pack with a descriptive name

2. Inside, create the folder path: assets/minecraft/textures/gui/title/background/

3. Prepare six square images (typically 256×256 or 512×512 pixels) representing: panorama_0, panorama_1, panorama_2, panorama_3, panorama_4, and panorama_5

4. Save these as PNG files: panorama_0.png, panorama_1.png, etc.

5. Create a pack.mcmeta file in your resource pack root with pack description and format version

6. Compress the folder as a ZIP file

7. Place it in your resourcepacks folder

8. Enable it alongside other packs in your resource pack menu

Panoandom will now randomly select your custom panorama along with others from your active packs.
