How to Configure Panda's Falling Trees for Modded Logs and Leaves

Locate and Open the Config

After launching Minecraft with Panda's Falling Trees installed, the mod creates a config file in your config directory. Open it with a plain text editor. Inside you will find options related to which blocks count as logs and which count as leaves. These options exist so you can extend the mod beyond vanilla trees without editing the mod itself. Read the comments in the file, since they explain the expected format for each entry.

Add Your Blocks Correctly

Find the list for additional log blocks and the list for additional leaf blocks. Add the registry name of each modded block you want the mod to treat as part of a tree. Registry names usually follow the pattern of mod id plus block name, and they must match exactly or the entry will be ignored. Add both the log and the corresponding leaf block for every tree type you want to support. Save the file and fully restart the game, not just reload the world, so the config is read again. After restarting, test each tree type individually by chopping its lowest log. If a tree still does not fall, recheck the spelling of both entries and confirm the leaves you listed are the ones actually generated with that log. Correct entries make modded trees collapse the same way vanilla trees do.
