Add and Customize Shield Cooldown Indicators

Configure Shield Cooldown Visual Feedback

Overlay Tweaks enhances shield feedback by letting you add colored indicators that show when your shield is on cooldown after blocking damage.

Steps

1. Access your mod configuration menu

2. Find the Item Enhancements or Shield section

3. Locate the colored shield cooldown indicator option and enable it

4. Look for color customization options to choose your preferred indicator color

5. Adjust the shield opacity if you want the shield itself to be more or less transparent

6. Check for shield height adjustment to reposition the shield on your screen if needed

7. Save your settings and equip a shield in-game to see the changes

Result

Your shield will now display a colored cooldown indicator when it's recharging after blocking, making it immediately clear when you can block again. This visual feedback is especially helpful during intense combat situations where timing your blocks is critical.
