Exploring Both Mod Biomes in One World

Why Both Mods Generate Together

With Overgrown Alpine Heights installed, CliffTree and Terralith biomes no longer conflict. Instead of one mod's biome list overwriting the other, their climate tables merge into a single shared system. This means you'll encounter landscapes from both mods naturally distributed across your Overworld.

How to Find Different Biomes

Travel horizontally across your world rather than staying in one region. CliffTree typically generates terrain with steep cliffs and dramatic elevation changes, while Terralith produces varied custom landscapes like oases, inferno caves, and shrublands.

Use a mod that displays your current biome (like a minimap or biome indicator) to track which biomes you're entering. This helps you understand the distribution pattern and locate specific terrain types you want to build in or explore.

Underground Exploration

Dig down to find deep cave biomes. Inferno and mantle cave biomes from both mods can generate together in the same cave system, creating visually distinct underground regions. These deeper areas showcase the mod's compatibility most dramatically.
