Efficient Mining Strategies

1. Use branch mining — Dig a main tunnel, then create perpendicular branches every few blocks. The enhanced ore textures make it easy to spot deposits in the walls as you walk your branches.

2. Combine with cave exploration — Caves expose more stone surface area than tunneling. With ores more visible, you'll collect more resources per cave run.

3. Bring appropriate tools — Use pickaxes suited to the ores you're hunting. The resource pack shows you where ores are; you still need the right tool to mine them.

4. Mark ore locations — When you spot an ore vein, mine it completely before moving on. The brightened textures make it easy to see connected ores in the same vein.

5. Focus on target ores — If you need specific materials, the clearer textures let you quickly identify and skip past unwanted ores, saving time and inventory space.
