Adjusting to the Enhanced Ore Textures
Understanding the Visual Changes
Ore Visible Resource Pack modifies ore block textures to be brighter and more distinct from stone. This takes adjustment if you're used to vanilla Minecraft's subtle ore appearance.
Tips for Adaptation
1. Mine in familiar areas first — Start in caves or mines you know well. This lets you adjust to the new textures without the pressure of exploring unknown terrain.
2. Expect contrast — Ores now have noticeably different colors and brightness compared to stone. This is intentional and helps them pop visually.
3. Don't rely solely on texture — While ores are more visible, still use mining techniques like branch mining or cave exploration. The resource pack enhances visibility but doesn't change ore spawn rates or locations.
4. Test in different lighting — Try mining in caves with varying light levels to see how the textures perform. Some players find the enhancement works best in well-lit areas.
5. Give it time — After a few mining sessions, the new textures will feel natural and you'll wonder how you ever found ores in vanilla Minecraft.
