How do I start using this data pack?
Simply load the data pack into your world—no crafting or setup needed. Walk up to any tree or ore deposit and break a single block; the rest of the connected cluster will break automatically.
Why are there still floating leaves after I chop a tree?
Make sure you're breaking the bottom log of the tree, not a log higher up. The data pack traces connected logs downward, so starting from the base ensures all logs are removed and leaves clear properly.
Does vein mining work on all ore types?
Yes, vein mining breaks all connected blocks of the same ore type when you hit one. This includes common ores like stone, copper, iron, and diamond, as well as any modded ores if you're using other mods.
Can I control which blocks get mined with vein mining?
The data pack mines all connected blocks of the same type by default. If you want to mine selectively, you can disable the data pack temporarily or use a tool without the vein mining effect if your setup supports that.
What counts as 'connected' for ore veins?
Ore blocks are connected if they touch each other horizontally or vertically (including diagonals in some cases). The vein miner traces outward from the block you hit and collects all matching ore in that cluster.
Does this data pack work in multiplayer?
Yes, the data pack works on multiplayer servers and realms. All players will experience vein mining and tree felling, though performance depends on your server's processing power when multiple players mine large veins at once.
Will this slow down my world or cause lag?
The data pack is lightweight and shouldn't cause noticeable lag on most systems. Mining very large ore veins or felling massive trees in quick succession might cause brief delays, but normal gameplay remains smooth.
Can I use this data pack with other mods or data packs?
