Stop Tactical Scouts from Triggering Immediate Waves
Identify Tactical Scouts
Tactical Scouts are reconnaissance units that wander near your base before the daily 16:00 invasion window. They appear as individual orcs separated from the main horde and move deliberately around your perimeter.
Avoid Triggering Early Attacks
Do not attack or kill Tactical Scouts unless you're prepared for an immediate wave assault. Damaging them alerts the entire invasion force, summoning reinforcements to your location instantly—even if the scheduled invasion time hasn't arrived yet.
Safe Approaches
- Observe from distance: Watch scout movements from beyond their detection range to predict where the main invasion will focus.
- Redirect scouts: Use terrain or water barriers to guide them away from your base without engaging them.
- Time your defense: If you accidentally trigger a scout, ensure your defenses are fully staffed and your allied guards are positioned before the wave arrives.
- Stay alert during daylight: Scouts typically appear in the hours leading up to 16:00, so maintain vigilance and keep your combat gear accessible.
If you need to clear a scout, do so only when your fortifications are ready and you have backup nearby.
