Orcinvasion FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
When do invasions start and can I change the time?
Daily invasions trigger automatically at 16:00 (4 PM) in-game time. The mod scales invasion difficulty through thirteen tiers based on in-game days, so earlier days have weaker waves than later ones.
How do I stop Tactical Scouts from calling in waves?
Avoid attacking Tactical Orcs near your base—killing them triggers an immediate wave attack. If you see scouts, either ignore them or move far away before they spot you and summon reinforcements.
What's the best way to defend a coastal base?
Build walls and barriers along your shoreline to block landing boats and submarines, then position yourself within 64 blocks of the battle zone to fight incoming naval units. Watch for armored speedboats and torpedo submarines, which are more dangerous than basic landing craft.
How do I recruit allied guards to defend my base?
Find the Smiling Professor roaming the Overworld and feed her cooked food or apples to build trust and form an alliance. Once allied, use
Outpost Core blocks to claim territory and spend emeralds to hire guards who will defend your claimed land.

You must stay within 64 blocks of the battle zone to clear the wave and collect loot drops. If you leave the area, the invasion won't progress and you won't get rewards.
What gear should I craft before invasions get hard?
Use specialized benches and exoskeleton systems to craft combat tools designed for late-game units like Cannoneers and Psionics, which bypass regular armor. Prepare these upgrades during early tiers before invasions become too difficult.
Why are Goblins so dangerous compared to regular Orcs?
Goblins swarm in large packs and attack from range with throwing knives and explosives, making them harder to control than Primitive Orcs who charge with melee weapons. Their numbers and ranged damage can overwhelm defenses quickly.
Do enemy explosives destroy my buildings?
No—enemy explosives deal damage to players and mobs only, so your structures and blocks are safe from siege cannons and goblin explosives. This lets you focus on combat without worrying about base destruction.
How do Trolls and elite commanders differ from regular units?
Trolls are boss-tier tanks with massive health pools and slow regeneration, while elite commanders support large armies by providing healing and speed buffs to nearby units. Both are much stronger than standard Orcs and require better gear to defeat.
Will this mod lag my server or single-player world?
The mod spawns many units during waves and naval patrols, so performance depends on your hardware and settings. Consider adjusting invasion difficulty tiers or using allied guards to reduce the number of active enemies if you experience lag.
