How do I get started with Orbital Strike Plus?
You need OP permissions to use the mod's commands. Type `/ob give` to spawn a fishing rod into your inventory, then hold it, aim at your target, and cast to trigger an orbital strike.
What's the difference between inward and outward ring strikes?
Inward rings collapse toward the center point, while outward rings expand away from it. Both create circular patterns of destruction, but the direction of the blast wave differs.
Can I make custom words appear as explosions?
Yes, use the `/ob text` command to spell out words on the landscape using TNT or other block explosions from above. The mod converts your text into a strike pattern.
Do the fishing rods break after use?
By default, yes—they degrade with each strike. Use the `/ob give` command with the infinity parameter set to true to create unbreakable weapons that never wear out.
How do I summon wolves or golems to fight for me?
Use `/ob wolves` to spawn an army of armored wolves at your target location, or use the appropriate summon command for iron golems. Cast the resulting fishing rod to deploy them where you aim.
Can I dig straight down to Bedrock?
Yes, the bedrock-piercing strike creates a vertical shaft from the surface all the way down to bedrock. Use `/ob nuke` with the appropriate parameters to activate this attack.
What happens if I use an orbital strike near my base?
The mod gives you full control over strike size and shape, so you can make precise, small attacks. However, larger strikes will destroy blocks and terrain, so aim carefully away from structures you want to keep.
Can I teleport with these weapons?
Yes, the teleport strike lets you instantly move to wherever you point the fishing rod, or jump to saved coordinates. This is useful for quick travel across your world.
Do I need to be in Creative Mode to use this mod?
No, but you do need OP permissions on your server or world to run the `/ob` commands. In single-player, you can enable cheats to get OP access.
Can I customize the size and shape of explosions?
Yes, the mod lets you control the pattern (hearts, stars, hexagons, rings, lines, random scatter) and the scale of each strike. Different commands and parameters create different destruction patterns.
