Orbital Strike Cannon Data Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get started with the Orbital Strike Cannon?
Type /function orbital_strike_cannon:get_nuke into chat to receive your first fishing rod, then hold it in your main hand and click use while aiming at a target to call down an attack.
What's the difference between the Nuke Shot and the Stab Attack?
The Nuke Shot creates a massive explosion across a wide area using multiple layers of TNT, while the Stab Attack shoots straight down and digs a deep hole all the way to bedrock, useful for mining or creating vertical shafts.
Can I get multiple strike rods at once?
Yes, use the shulker box commands like /function orbital_strike_cannon:get_nuke_shulker to receive a full shulker box containing multiple copies of that rod.
How many wolves does the Wolf Army spawn?
The Wolf Army spawns around 50 armored wolves that fight for you and have beneficial effects including extra strength, speed, fire resistance, and health regeneration.
Do I need to aim precisely or does it hit where I'm standing?
You aim with your crosshair and the strike hits exactly where you're aiming, so you can target specific locations from a distance or up close.
What happens if I use an orbital strike indoors or underground?
The strike will still activate and create its effect at your aimed location; the Nuke Shot will explode and the Stab Attack will dig downward regardless of your surroundings.
Can the wolves from the Wolf Army die?
Yes, the armored wolves can be killed in combat, though their extra strength, speed, and health regeneration make them fairly durable.
Is there a cooldown between strikes or can I spam them?
The mod treats the fishing rods like normal fishing rods mechanically, so you can use them as quickly as you can click without an enforced cooldown.
What are the other rod types besides Nuke, Stab, and Wolf?
You can also obtain the Lawnuke Rod and the Wither Nuke Rod using their respective commands, each providing different orbital strike effects.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
Large orbital strikes create many particles and explosions which can impact performance depending on your computer; consider using strikes in moderation or in areas away from your main base if you experience lag.
