Stop Servers from Tracking Your Account Across Sessions

Understand Resource Pack Isolation

Servers can use resource packs to track your account identity. OpSec Mod saves each server's resource pack separately for each of your accounts, breaking the tracking chain.

Block Unwanted Resource Packs

1. Open the OpSec settings from your multiplayer menu

2. Go to the Protection tab

3. Enable Block Server Packs to reject forced resource pack downloads

4. When a server tries to push a pack, you'll be prompted to accept or deny it

Manage Saved Packs

Resource packs are stored separately per account, so:

  • Switching accounts (via the Accounts tab) isolates your pack history
  • Servers cannot correlate your activity across different accounts
  • Each account appears as a fresh client to the server

If you want to use a server's resource pack, accept it—OpSec will still keep it isolated to that account. Rejecting packs gives you maximum privacy but may affect visual appearance on some servers.
