Monitor and Respond to Server Tracking Attempts

Enable Chat and Popup Alerts

OpSec Mod can warn you when servers try to track or scan your client.

1. Open OpSec settings from the multiplayer menu

2. Go to the Miscellaneous tab (or similar settings area)

3. Enable Chat Alerts to receive in-game messages when tracking is detected

4. Enable Popup Alerts for immediate visual warnings

5. Optionally enable Logging to keep a record of tracking attempts

Understand Alert Types

You may receive warnings about:

  • Keyboard input scanning attempts (blocked automatically)
  • Suspicious network requests to your home network (blocked automatically)
  • Resource pack tracking attempts
  • Mod detection scans

Respond to Alerts

When you see an alert:

  • Chat message: Read it to understand what the server tried to do
  • Popup warning: Review the details and decide whether to stay on the server
  • Logged events: Check your logs later to identify patterns of invasive servers

All dangerous tracking is blocked automatically—alerts are informational only. You can choose to leave servers that repeatedly attempt tracking.
