How to See and Manage Your Claims on Xaero's Map
Enabling the Map Overlay
Open Parties and Claims integrates with Xaero's Minimap and World Map. When both mods are installed, your claimed chunks appear as coloured overlays on the map, and party members' claims show in a different colour. If you see no overlay, open the claims menu once — the mod needs to sync your claim data, which happens when you interact with the menu or run a claim command.
Reading the Colours
Each colour represents a different owner: your own claims, your party's claims, and other players' claims are distinguished so you can tell at a glance where you are allowed to build. Hovering or clicking a chunk on the World Map typically opens claim options, letting you claim or unclaim without walking there.
Managing Claims From the Map
Use the World Map to plan expansions: check which neighbouring chunks are free, then claim them directly. This is far faster than travelling chunk by chunk. If the overlay looks stale after you claim something, reopen the claims menu or the map to force a refresh. On servers where map integration is disabled in config, you will still see claims in the mod's own menu, just not drawn on Xaero's map — in that case ask your admin whether the integration is turned on.
