One Key Miner Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start using One Key Miner?
Sneak (hold Shift) and break a block with the appropriate tool—adjacent blocks of the same type will break automatically. Open the mod GUI with /onekeyminer screen to customize which blocks work with which tools.
Why isn't sneaking working to trigger bulk mining?
Make sure you're actually sneaking (holding Shift) when you break the block, and that the block type is configured to work with the tool you're using. Check your tool's block list with /onekeyminer list to confirm the block is linked.
How do I add or remove blocks from a tool?
Use /onekeyminer add or /onekeyminer remove in chat, replacing with the tool name (like pickaxe or axe) and with the block ID. You can also manage this visually through the /onekeyminer screen GUI.
What's the difference between sneaking and not sneaking?
When sneaking, breaking one block triggers bulk mining of adjacent matching blocks. Without sneaking, you mine normally one block at a time, even if the block is configured for the mod.
Can I set a limit on how many blocks break at once?
Yes, use /onekeyminer limit to cap the maximum blocks mined in a single action. This prevents lag or accidental over-mining.
How do I enable hoe tilling and other tool interactions?
Use /onekeyminer interact true to allow tools to perform their normal interactions (like a hoe turning grass into farmland) when sneaking. Use /onekeyminer interact false to disable this.
Does One Key Miner work in multiplayer?
The mod works on multiplayer servers, but the /onekeyminer screen GUI only opens in singleplayer or LAN worlds. You can still use chat commands on servers if the server has the mod installed.
Can I swap blocks without breaking them?
Yes, but only in Creative Mode—use the block swap feature to instantly replace blocks of one type with another without mining them first.
Will this mod cause lag when mining large veins?
Large mining operations can impact performance depending on your hardware. Use /onekeyminer limit to set a reasonable cap on blocks per action, and consider limiting sneaking mining to smaller areas if you experience stuttering.
How do I know which blocks are linked to my pickaxe?
Run /onekeyminer pickaxe list in chat to see all blocks currently configured to break with a pickaxe when sneaking.
