Getting Started with One Block Mod

Starting Your One Block World

Create a new world using the One Block world type. You will spawn on a small island — grass and dirt in the Overworld, netherrack in the Nether, or endstone in the End — with a single special block at the center: the OneBlock.

Break the OneBlock to receive resources. Each time you destroy it, it regenerates and yields new materials, letting you build up your island from basic resources toward late-game gear. Keep breaking and collecting to expand what you can craft.

Progression is organized into biome stages. The Overworld has 36 biomes, the Nether has 5, and the End has 5. As you advance, the OneBlock generates blocks matching different biome stages, gradually unlocking new materials and environments.

In multiplayer, an optional datapack lets each player spawn on their own island, spaced 1000 blocks apart, so everyone progresses independently.
