Keep Your LAN Server in Online Mode
Understand the Default Setting
The OfflineLAN Mod comes with the toggle set to ON by default. This preserves vanilla behavior—your integrated server will require players to have valid, authenticated Minecraft accounts to join.
Leave the Toggle Enabled
To keep online-mode active:
1. Open Pause Menu → Open to LAN
2. Ensure the OfflineLAN toggle is set to ON
3. Start your LAN world
Why Use Online Mode
Keeping the toggle ON is useful when:
- You want to ensure only legitimate Minecraft account holders can join
- You're playing with friends who all have premium accounts
- You want proper player authentication and security
- You need compatibility with anti-cheat systems or server plugins that rely on authentication
No Extra Steps Required
Since online-mode is the default, you don't need to do anything special. Simply leave the toggle as-is and play normally. The mod won't interfere with your server's operation.
