Banning, Kicking, or Teleporting Offline Players with Commands

What you can and cannot do

Offline Commands Mod extends commands like /teleport, /gamemode, /kill, /effect, /clear, and /spawnpoint to offline targets. Note that /ban and /kick are handled by your server software or permission plugin, not by this mod — kicking an offline player is meaningless anyway, but banning them offline is done through your ban plugin's own offline support.

Practical steps

1. To move an offline player to a location, run /teleport <player> <x> <y> <z> or /teleport <player> <targetPlayer>. The coordinates are stored and applied on next login.

2. To change their game mode while away, use /gamemode <mode> <player>.

3. To strip effects or inventory, use /effect clear <player> and /clear <player>.

4. To set a new respawn point, use /spawnpoint <player> <x> <y> <z>.

5. To kill them (for example, to reset a stuck state), use /kill <player> — this applies the death on their next join.

Verification

Because nothing happens visually until the player returns, double-check by re-running a read-only command such as /data get entity <player> to confirm the stored values changed.
