How to Set Up and Use Dungeon Waypoints in Odin Mod
Creating a Waypoint
Open the Odin Mod menu with /od and navigate to the Dungeon Waypoints section. While inside a dungeon room, stand at the exact spot you want to mark and use the waypoint creation option. You will be prompted to name it and assign a color so it stands out from other markers. Waypoints are stored per-room, so the same label can be reused across different rooms without conflict.
Using Waypoints Mid-Run
Once created, waypoints render as floating markers visible through walls, letting you route quickly between secrets, puzzle inputs, and the room exit. You can toggle individual waypoints on or off from the menu if a room gets
cluttered. Many players keep a separate set for each puzzle type — for example, marking the correct lever in a Three Weirdos room or the safe path in Ice Fill.
Practical Tips
- Keep waypoint names short so they don't block your view.
- Use distinct colors for secrets versus exits.
- If a waypoint looks misplaced, delete and recreate it rather than editing coordinates by hand.
- Waypoints persist between runs, so a well-built set pays off every time you enter that room type.
