How to Install and Enable Oculies Low Fire Resource Pack

Adding the Pack to Your Game

Oculies Low Fire is a resource pack, not a mod, so it does not go in your mods folder. Place the downloaded pack file into the resourcepacks folder inside your Minecraft directory. You can reach this folder quickly by opening Options, then Resource Packs, then clicking the button that opens the pack folder. Drop the file in there and return to the game.

Activating It

Open Options, then Resource Packs. Find Oculies Low Fire in the list of available packs on the left side. Click it, or use the arrow, to move it to the selected column on the right. Make sure it sits above any other pack that also changes fire textures, because packs higher in the list override the ones below them. Click Done to apply.

Confirming It Works

Light yourself on fire in a safe way, such as standing in a campfire or briefly touching lava, and watch your screen. The flames should now sit low near the bottom of your view instead of covering the center. If the fire still fills your screen, another pack is overriding it, so move Oculies Low Fire to the top of the selected list and try again.
