Fixing Low Fire Not Working or Being Overridden

First Checks

If your screen still fills with flames while burning, the pack is either not enabled or being overridden. Open Options, then Resource Packs, and confirm Oculies Low Fire appears in the selected column on the right, not the available column on the left. If it is on the left, click it to move it across.

Resolving Pack Conflicts

Resource packs load from top to bottom, and the top pack wins for any texture it changes. If another pack above Oculies Low Fire also edits the fire overlay, that pack's version shows instead. Drag Oculies Low Fire to the top of the selected list and click Done. Test by catching fire again.

Other Things to Try

  • Make sure the pack file is in the resourcepacks folder and not the mods folder.
  • If you use a mod loader with its own pack handling, verify the pack is enabled there too.
  • Reload packs by leaving and re-entering the Resource Packs screen, which forces textures to refresh.
  • If nothing works, disable all other packs, enable only Oculies Low Fire, and confirm it functions before adding the rest back one by one.
